In the Vallé laboratory, each object is being shaped and artistically decorated in a noisy play of hammers.

Everything is done by hand, without any shortcuts, keeping to the superior standards embodied by Made in Italy silverware.

As full masters of embossing and chiseling techniques, the Vallés are able to mold and decorate the silver pieces under production, irrespective of shape and size.

The technical ability stemming from years of experience and their marked sensitiveness to the materials in use allow the Vallés to give justice to the tiniest details without causing damaging “tear” to the silver, and to realize unique pieces which are further tributes to the ancient art of embossing and chiseling.

PROCESSING PHASES
sx
  • Phase 1Phase 1
To realize a particular object, the point of departure is the design drawn on a sheet of silver
  • Phase 2Phase 2
To reach the desired volumes, the object is worked on with embossing tools
  • Phase 3Phase 3
To finalize its shape, the object is filled with pitch
  • Phase 4Phase 4
The various details are worked on from the outside with hammers and chisels
  • Phase 5Phase 5
Once all decorative details have been achieved, the pitch is removed and the object is further refined, down to the tiniest aspect, with chisels
  • Phase 6Phase 6
The finished product is ready for sale
This one is inspired from a Pompeian bowl belonging to the Boscoreale Treasure, now in the Louvre Museum in Paris
